About FAMPAL
Our Story
FAMPAL started with a specific frustration in a specific place: Metro Vancouver — a region home to thousands of families, many of them newcomers to Canada, many of them navigating systems they've never encountered before.
Finding the right programs and support here is harder than it should be. Not because the resources don't exist — they do. But they're scattered across municipal websites, provincial portals, Facebook groups, and word-of-mouth networks that not every family has access to. Families miss programs they qualify for. They make decisions without information they were entitled to. They spend hours searching for answers that should take minutes to find.
Our Phase 1 launch starts in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody — where we know this area well. Not as an abstraction, but as a place with specific neighborhoods, specific demographics, specific gaps between what's available and what's actually findable. We believe the best way to build something useful is to understand one community deeply before expanding to the next across Metro Vancouver.
We are growing city by city by design. Adding a new community before we've genuinely served the last one isn't ambition — it's just noise at larger scale. FAMPAL will expand across Metro Vancouver when doing so means bringing real depth to each new community, not when a growth metric says we should.
The goal is not to become the biggest family resource in Canada. The goal is to be the one that families in BC actually trust — because we earned it, one accurate guide at a time.
Our Mission
Make it easier for families in Metro Vancouver to find what they need, access what they're entitled to, and make better decisions for their children.
Phase 1 starts in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody — where we know this area well. We're going deep before we go broad, with more Metro Vancouver communities added continuously after validation.
How We Work
We're building carefully.
We started with free local guides — practical, specific, written for real families navigating real situations. Not marketing content. Actual information that helps.
As we learn what families need most — through the guides people read, the questions they ask, and the feedback early users share — we'll build more. The platform we're building will eventually offer personalized guidance and decision support. But we're making sure the foundation is genuinely useful first.
Built on AIRODO
FAMPAL is one product within the AIRODO ecosystem — a technology platform being developed to help individuals and families make better decisions across complex life domains. AIRODO provides the intelligence foundation that FAMPAL will eventually draw on for personalized guidance and decision support. FAMPAL remains its own product with its own identity, focused entirely on families in Canada — but the technology behind it is being built with a longer ambition: to make expert-level guidance accessible to anyone who needs it, regardless of their background, connections, or resources.
A Note on Trust
FAMPAL is in early development. We will always be honest about what's ready and what's not.
Our guides are accurate, locally specific, and available right now.
The full platform — with personalized recommendations and decision support — is coming. We won't tell you it's here before it is.
We don't sell your information. We don't spam. And if you ever want off our list, one click is all it takes.
